This fiber art painting was created by first wet felting wool roving, silk roving and specialty yarns into a base design. After drying, I needle felt, freeform stitch and embroider for added dimension and interest. The felt is approximately 11” x 14” and is set in a 14” x 17” metallic silver painted frame. I do not put glass fronts on my paintings, as I believe part of the experience is having direct access to its rich textures.
