This fiber art painting was created by first wet felting wool roving, silk roving and specialty yarns into a base design. After drying, I needle felt, and embroider for added dimension and interest. The felt is approximately 12” x 12” and is set in a white matted 20.5”x20.5” white shadow frame 2.5” deep. I do not put glass fronts on my paintings, as I believe part of the experience is having direct access to its rich textures.
